The gluten free toaster at breakfast was amazing, have not seen this before. Much appreciated. Also the Uber driver associated/recommended by hotel staff for a trip to a winery was fab. he was kind, helpful and fun.

Have stayed at the Royal Anne many times over the years. This time however, there had been some notably positive changes to the entire facility. Of singular particular note was the layout of the room: although straightforward and simple, there was particular care made to provide us with raised horizontal surfaces to put our open suitcases on. We didnt have to use the coffee table, the lounge chair, the dresser, the bed or heaven forbid the floor, to access our luggage. This may sound trivial, but our experiences in other attractively photogenic rooms show that this is often a neglected consideration. Well done Royal Anne! We'll be back.

It was not accessible: there stairs from the elevator to the entrance and to the front door from the street. We asked the front desk if there was a way to avoid the stairs for our stroller and they said "no." The lack of accessibility contradicts the amenities list — but you could probably leave from the parking garage down the alley if you needed (maybe? didn't try). Hotel was more outdated than I expected but it seemed like parts were renovated. Room was musty, there were some stains on the bench and curtains. The beds and pillows themselves were really comfy and the location was great though.
