The place was nice and the host was kind. There is need to upgrade especially the bathroom…. Not closer to Bari or beaches…

Beautiful place, the pool could use a bit of an upkeep / refresh but otherwise, perfect and enjoyable. Grounds are very well kept and peaceful to walk through. Restaurant was great and convenient. Wifi doesn’t work in the rooms - not an overly big deal but if you’re planning to use it, important not to rely on it. Would stay again.

There is some sidereal distance between the way the hotel is advertised and the reality. Amenities almost non existing, very cheap tv and shower box, roadside motel toiletries, AC barely working, slowest elevator and don’t even try to get there with your own car. You are forced to parked 25 mins away (at extra cost) and then someone comes and pick you up. The are is nice but the hotel is simply and unequivocally overrated.

I was double charged for my room. I queried this with reception and they insisted that I would be refunded but that never happened. I contacted Experia with whom I had made the reservation and they said the hotel are refusing the refund and could do nothing. I will not use Experia or Hotel HR again.

The highlight of our 14 day Sicily / Puglia trip. A charming mostly tourist free city close to several most see areas for day or evening tripping. The hotel is a modern reconstruction of ruins combining the old with the new. Overlooks a quiet marina with a dozen restaurants near by. Visit the old town. The spa is reasonably priced and very good. Rooftop bar a must at sunset. Get away from the bus tours and magnet shops. Puglia’s next hot spot.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and did not match the expectations created by the listing. The biggest issue was the noise. We booked two rooms for our family, including children, and the disturbance outside was so excessive that no one in either room could sleep. We contacted the hotel while it was happening and were told the noise was permitted until midnight. However, it continued well past midnight. At approximately 1:00 AM we were still awake due to loud music, shouting and even fireworks. We documented the disturbance and reported it to the hotel. We were also disappointed by the advertised amenities. The pool was extremely overcrowded throughout our stay, making it very difficult to actually enjoy. The beach was also not what we expected from the listing and involved additional fees that should have been made much clearer before booking. The property has potential and staff were polite, but a hotel’s most basic responsibility is providing guests with a reasonable environment to sleep. Had the noise conditions, overcrowding and additional beach costs been clearly disclosed, we would not have booked this hotel. I strongly recommend families clarify these issues before booking.
