This is someone’s home so you are staying in a bed room either with a private bath or shared bath. They have one cute cat that is quiet. The hosts are teachers and are extremely nice and helpful! I took the bus and train there from the airport with my luggage and then took bus train and then bus to everywhere. It’s only $3.50 to take public transportation including transfers within 90 minutes. The house is close to all bus stops, within 5 to 15 minutes of walking. This is a very nice and quiet neighborhood with huge houses. I slept very well at night because the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful! It is also a lot cheaper than hotels.

More coffee pods in room would have been nice for a three night stay. And card-operated laundry facilities.

Breakfast could have started a little earlier, 7:00 instead of 7:30. Great made-to-order breakfast!

Lovely hotel. Was on the 20th floor with a partial view of the harbour. Was given some lovely chocolates, a bottle of wine and a nice card for our 30th wedding anniversary.

Staff was super helpful, room was clean!

To begin, sketchy area, but seemed safe in daylight hours. The only restaurant within walking distance is a brunch place that is only open until 4:00. The hotel has a bar restaurant, although I had trouble accessing it because there was some sort of show happening and without a ticket, the receptionist didn't want to give me access! She eventually did and I was able to order food to take to the room. The pizza was mediocre. I was very early arriving because I came off a cruise ship. I was perfectly willing to wait in the reception space, but three hours into the wait I needed a restroom and there wasn't one available! Again, there was one in the bar but they were apparently cleaning and the receptionist wouldn't let me use it. That was why I ended up at the brunch place! The room was fine. Definitely nothing special. Seemed clean. I'm not sure why they left paint spatter on the bathroom mirror! The shower was terrible!! Teeny tiny with virtually no water pressure at all! I had trouble getting the shampoo out of my hair!

Seems like it would have been a nice place when it first opened, but there were a ton of issues with the room. Doors that don’t close properly, missing cupboard handles, duct tape on the floor, shoddy construction work all around which is really starting to show. The coffee was also a major disappointment. They have good beans on offer from a local roaster, but the supplies to make the coffee (coffee maker and pour-over set) aren’t up to the task. The coffee maker especially was nearly impossible to figure out and constantly came out watery and bitter. On the plus side, communication with the staff was alright, in-suite laundry was a nice touch, and the gym was well equipped enough for a short stay. I would recommend staying somewhere else in the area given the price.
