Found a last minute cancellation, for the price it was well worth it. Staff pleasant, smooth check in experience, wouldn’t let me friend through to the room although I understand it may be for security reasons. Comfy beds, nice en-suite, the only downside was the air-con that makes a noise and couldn’t turn it off. All in all for the price I thought it was very good and worth it- would stay again!

Great service, the check in went well, the lady serving was great fun and even walked us to the building! Loads of space, freshly decorated, clean, loads of great features One small frustration (but I’m being picky) is the fire doors are super heavy and close every time you leave a room, so your forever opening doors that do squeak (especially in the night it’s a bit annoying!) but would not put me off staying again

We stayed as a large group for a Stag Weekend, we found the rooms perfectly adequate for our requirements. My room was a double, it was clean and comfortable and had tea/coffee making facilities. The only concern I had was that the shower door contacted the shower head when the door was opened which might have been a problem if I had been "heavy handed". The major plus of the whole establishment was the staff, they could not have been any friendlier or more helpful, top class.

Check in was a breeze, very friendly receptionist swiftly arranged an early check in. Apartment had great facilities, though more kitchen stuff would be great, like tea towels, oven gloves etc. Check out definitely left a lot to be desired, perhaps a basic politeness.

everything you need as a solo traveler
i received a lovely warm welcome to cocoon. it is a little walk from the city centre which is not too bad however the final stretch can feel like uncomfortable especially late at night and as a female walking alone. the hotel itself was as to be expected for the price. i opted for a room with no window. i was preparing myself for it to be really warm through my stay but actually it was really well ventilated. i ended up cold through the night which is very unusual for me! there’s also a desk fan provided. the room was basic but comfortable. it is definitely rough around the edges and upon closer inspection, needs a deep clean but for the price paid i really cannot complain! if i find myself in liverpool again i will be checking availability here again!

Very friendly staff and comfortable stay
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were checked in early and were offered help with directions if needed (we travelled there for a concert). The room was on the smaller side but for what we paid during a peak night it was still great value for money, plus the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was really spacious. Would definitely recommend

That’s the only word I can use, OK. It was clean overall but dilapidated in places. The no windows is a plus for us as we like it dark! There was a lot of noise from upstairs (I think we were possibly under the pub) loud music and then what sounded like rearranging furniture both at 2am and again at 9am. We were in town for Taylor Swift so I understand everything was inflated and we just booked whatever was available, but the price definitely feels like a rip off now we’ve stayed. Overall, just OK.
