Very long check in time. Even after being asked what time I would arrive. Room tidy and clean. No modern features like USB ports in room. Executive room and lounge. Sad People allowed to walk out of lounge with bags full of free snacks/drinks. Location great. 2nd visit here. Some obvious letdowns.
Got to check in and Hilton had not received our reservation. Very embarrassing with a large queue waiting. Took over an hour to sort out. Hilton staff were amazing. Getting help from Hotels.com is almost impossible.

Booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband for his birthday.
We have previously stayed here & had no previous concerns however the recent reviews had me dubious of what to expect.
From check-in to check-out we couldn't say a bad word. Upon check-in we had been upgraded with breakfast and executive lounge added at no extra fee. I did not manage to get the guys name who checked us in & out but your customer service is outstanding.
When entering our room we were surprised with a card & drink vouchers for my husbands birthday.
The room was clean & tidy however some areas could do with being refreshed nevertheless clean.
Executive lounge isn't nothing to rave about, but clean tidy and good selection of cold drinks and coffee/tea station lovely & warm.
The breakfast was nice hot & fresh good selection including GF!
All in all good day would definitely return - thankyou!
Executive room was tired had multiple marks in the walls, the lamp shade was filthy, in need of an upgrade and not worth the money. This is meant to be the premier hotel in liverpool ? Was mived rooms second rokm was better but still tired. Lounge was nice all be it small amd on the ground floor in comparison to manchester deansgate though notnin the same league.

Second time at this hotel felt the room was in need of an uplift.
Location in Liverpool excellent but might try elsewhere next time??
Was disappointed that I didn't get a discount for the car park. Apparently you have to let the hotel know in advance for the discount, so I had to pay full price (£36) fro just over 24 hours.
Great hotel and great service. Breakfast staff were excellent. One guy in reception needs to work on his smile ☹️

The hotel check-in process was great. However, the rooms are dated, the showerhead was inadequate, and the air conditioning was not functioning properly.

The heating in the room did not work . It only supplied cold air . The staff tried several times to adjust it with no success .
