Not as advertised
The check-in process was nice and easy. Booked this hotel based on the online description and pictures online. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of room(106) I was in. The bathroom didn’t have a hand towel, the sink was cracked, sink tap was loose and shaky, the shower area had some sort of pipe sticking out which I saw after I accidentally hit it whilst taking shower. The tv remote didn’t have a back cover and the batteries were dead. I like to read a book before I go to bed but couldn’t do that as none of the two side/ reading lights were out of order and one of the bed side panel had a massive crack on it. I know these things can be reported to the reception but it’s not fair on a customers part to pay the advertised price and then waste time reporting issues. Also, I had a bad back which is why I requested for a room on the lowest floor possible when I checked in. This was a business trip and I had to drive back to Glasgow the next morning. Very disappointed with the standard of the room I was given. I expect someone from the hotel management to contact me so I can discuss some sort of refund/compensation as the standard of the room wasn’t worth what I was charged.
