Ideal location. Tired & dated bedroom & bathroom. But you get what you pay for. Maybe some staff could do with a little more training where contact with guests are concerned! Although that said, I left some clothes in the room & they were found by housekeeping & a family member was able to collect it, which was greatly appreciated.

Excellent location. Okay for one night. Room was cramped the wardrobe/shelves had been moved from original area by door leaving large empty space there. They were stuffed right next to bed leaving hardly any room to get in/out of bed!Range of tv channels poor. Very clean though.

Brilliant central location, with very reasonable parking rates. Staff were abrupt, almost rude. Mattress was quite uncomfortable, hard and lumpy.

Room massively overpriced, presumably due to the profiteering racket because Springsteen was in town. £200 for a tiny and very basic room. The service in the bar was terrible, queued for 20 minutes to get a drink. Drinks massively overpriced. The whole thing was a sorry overpriced mess. I'll never stay at an Ibis again.

The hotel has an excellent location. Really bad that they don't protect parking especially for the residents of the hotel and you can't pre-book spaces, you have to turn up and hope for the best. The hotel looks tired in the bedroom - lots of peeling veneer. Biggest complaint is the lack of proper aircon and temperature controls.

The food was terrible. I ordered fish and chips, and it made me feel nauseous due to its low quality. On a positive note, the room was a good size and had all the necessary amenities. The parking was also satisfactory. I regret ordering the food, which was my mistake.

Great hotel

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights for a wedding in the Wirral. Great location, walkable to lots of shops restaurants etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shampoo and body wash in the shower was the best I’ve ever used in hotels! Small ironing board which was useful and comfy bed. Only thing to note, room got very hot at night.
