The breakfast was good with a good choice. The hotel is situated further out of the centre of Liverpool as first thought. There was no mattress protector on the mattress, just the sheet.

Won't stay again

We had stayed in this hotel 10 years ago when the accommodation was fresher and very busy. That is not the case now, the hotel is tired and needs money spending on it. We booked a Premium Room but it wasn't a premium standard. Picture of the room is not what the room is really like. Only 1 desk chair for a couple, dirty stained carpets, thin pillows. We rang reception and asked for a 2nd chair and we were brought a high old fashioned bar stool that you slipped off. Nothing like to comfy chair shown in the picture of room on line. We had to ask for a room change the following morning as the air conditioning unit was broken and wouldn't turn off, fan was stuck on max so very noisy and had very little sleep. The 2nd room was not much better but at least the air conditioning worked and we could turn it off for sleeping. The staff were accommodating and helpful and gave us a drinks voucher to purchase free of charge 1 drink each at the bar.

Good option for a city stay

Perfectly good hotel for a short stay in Liverpool. We were attending a concert out at Anfield and there was a bit of a walk to the shuttle bus but otherwise location is fine for a city centre stay. The hotel is clean & comfortable. Our room was a little tired and needs more plug sockets especially nearer to the bed for charging devices.

An Ok hotel

I was really looking forward to this trip, we requested for a room right at the top and we were not disappointed, the views from the room were amazing although sometimes distracted by cruise ships but other than that it was perfect. The room looked clean but can do with a bit of TLC, the windowsill needs painting and filling the gaps. There were cables under the bedside, and I hated that I had no socket to charge my gadgets next to my bed and had to get up and charge by the dresser which was a hustle. Also when we went out after our first night we left the bed unmade hoping the staff would at least make the bed but I don't really know why they went into the room if they were not going to do a good job. The bed looked like it was done in a rush. it made me question the 4-star rating???

Needs updating stuck in a time warp.

Very disappointed in this hotel not what you would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel . Check in guy not really welcoming you to.the hotel . Room needs updating was something like out of the 70s very old fashioned and needs a good deep clean . Would be nice to see a fridge in room.

I wouldn’t use this hotel ever again. Ordered two single beds and was given a single. Had to ask staff multiple times to sort out. Queue for checking as only one staff member (a cold unhelpful receptionist) whilst another one (manager maybe) was just being annoying and giving irrelevant information instead of helping with the check in service. Breakfast was slow and had to keep asking for items to be refilled.

Last minute booking to visit hospital. Bruce Springsteen was appearing so only here or the Adelphi to chose from…4 x the usual price. Plus points, friendly quick check in, room large and clean. Great shower. No restaurant open in the evenings, you eat in the bar at a coffee table. The pizza was really lovely, but I was the only person in there. Not surprising as it was cold, air con set too high. Was awoken at midnight to the sound of a drunken man repeatedly saying “you’re f-ing joking” at the top of his voice. I put a pillow over my head and went back to sleep. Maybe he’d seen the price for the night! Fine for one night. Space where a fridge used to be.
