Arrived to find two staff members inspecting our room. Within 20 minutes another staff member let themselves in to our room. Whilst apologies were made on both occasions north exactly what you expect. The room was immaculately clean, staff were friendly and helpful. However, the noise at night was unbearable, the room had balcony doors which didn’t seem to prevent any noise reduction from the night club across the road. Would suggest you ensure a room at the back of the hotel and on a higher floor - or replace the doors with triple glazed windows! Shame as hotel and staff was very nice. Breakfast in Mason’s was excellent and would recommend you prebook to get the discount.
