The place was dirty. Out dated would not let my dog stay there. Staff don’t seem concerned and said the rooms had been cleaning. I’m looking for a refund.

OK for an over night stay

The reception area needs cleaned up. Looks really grubby. Rooms was good. Bed was good. Shower pressure was lacking a bit. Wifi was not good.

A very good comfortable stay

Good sized room with really comfortable large bed and a single bed. It was clean with a heater if needed. Bathroom was clean but would like to see a mixer tap as there was separate hot and cold taps in the basin. Pub/restaurant downstairs serves good value food. We missed the included breakfast but managed to order something which was great. The reception staff was great, especially Jan who I ended up chatting to for a while. Overall really enjoyed my one night stay

Decent little hotel

Booked a stay here as a family as wanted to visit Liverpool. Hotel was perfect for what we needed. Room was more than big enough for the 4 of us. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Meals were great, can't fault it

A bit old but good value for money

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip and have to say it's good value for money. The room is okay, clean, and big enough, but the entire hotel is very old-fashioned. The restaurant is a bit reminiscent of Weatherspoons; there's a good selection of inexpensive dishes. I had the large grill and everything was delicious. The service was friendly and quick; I can't fault it.
