The property is unique and has been renovated to a high standard, all staff encounterd really go the extra mile...particularly the Concierge Matthew. The Hotel is ahead of it's time and the surrounding area needs some investment to bring the area to it's full potential.

Loved our stay.

The cleanliness and décor were amazing. Staff were extremely helpful and the food was fabulous. We would have liked to have been able to open a window in our room but due to the age of the property, our window did not open. Would request a room with an open window in future.

Excellent, I would thoroughly recommend

Excellent staff who were all friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had an evening meal which was really nice and the breakfast we fantastic, so much choice and all fresh. Location was good, about 20 min walk from city centre, but quiet and relaxing. The only negatives I would say is the corridors are very dark (limited lighting) and we thought the additional cost of the spa facilities was expensive.

This is a lovely hotel, expensive but you get what you pay for, we stayed for my daughters 18th birthday. The building is beautiful and the staff friendly enough. My negative issue was that its is advertised with a pool and spa, and i understand that spas need to be booked, however the advertising didn't say ( or wasn't clear ) that you had to book a spot to swim and use the pool facilities. Unfortunately we didn't get to use this due to it being full, they did have a wait list, as i assume this is a common issue. It should be much clearer that booking is needed for this facility. Positive was i didn't realise breakfast was included in my booking so that was a nice surprise ( however again not clear what is included and not with the booking)
