Well maintained and clean

We enjoyed our stay very much! This place has so much to offer besides accomodation: access to the lake, table tennis, great breakfast with superpleasant hosts, laundry facilities, would deer occasionally visiting the front lawn ... If we are in Halifax again we'll definitely be back.

Very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. Rooms, hallway and elevators were not vacuumed enough or at all and it showed. Room was never dusted. Inch of dust on bedside lamp and phone. Shower supplies not refilled or replaced even when we got new bottles ourselves. They were on the sink counter or tub and never moved. Housekeeping does not understand English. Tables in dining area are not cleaned after use and are sticky. Mattress was worn out and lumpy! Air conditioning/heating unit did not work properly. Toilet tank leaked and refilled continuously, making non-stop noise. TVs shut off on their own after a certain time. Remote in bedroom doesn’t show channel information and you can only use one feature to change channels. Requested complimentary bottled water at the front desk and after a few days of handing it out the small refrigerator disappeared and water was no longer visible to guests. It was now stored in a bag.
