Matarangi Vacation Packages

Check in and out was easy, the staff were friendly and overall we had a great experience. The hotel is located centrally with an easy walk to bars, cafe etc. Parking was a bonus and also one of the reasons I selected the hotel. The hotel itself was quite dated compared to the photos. In saying that though our room was clean and tidy.

Awesome mate, good people , clean room

The Grand was excellent. Location easy to get to train. Cafes just outside hotel we're great. The rooms are beautiful , clean and have everything you need. Very quiet hotel in middle of city. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool, sauna and gym are great , well maintained . Breakfast was lovely, with good variety and quality. Will definitely visit again .

Great location. Walkable and safe. Very clean. Laundry facilities convenient. Breakfast was extraordinary.

Great location, great staff, everything you need at your hands. Clean and tidy, would hughly recommend.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this is a place to stay. The hotel is clean and modern, but it has heavily preferences style over comfort and functionality. The lighting in rooms is terrible (hope you don’t want to do your make up), you also need a 10 point plan to turn the relevant lights on, and it is noisy - very noisy. I heard every car, every door open, and even just people moving about in their rooms. The staff member that helped us on arrival was a gem and got us into our room a little early after a long flight, which was much appreciated, however I had emailed the hotel more than 24 hours beforehand to ask if there was any chance of an early check in. I only received a reply a day after our check in and the response was dismissive and rude. It just said 3pm is the guaranteed check in time, but they can hold our bags if we like. They clearly didn’t check the date or the fact we had already checked in a day before. Also not helpful to tell me the check in time, as I clearly knew this, hence the email.

The hotel was really nice! The staffs were very helpful; a gentleman by the name, Victor was very pleasant. Location is great! Right in the heart of the CBD! Well recommended!!
