The hotel is old and needs work but we really liked the colonial style buildings and the size of the complex. Breakfast was decent for what we paid and I enjoyed sitting on our terrace which felt quite private.

El hotel es muy bonito, agradable, habitación amplia. Jardín muy bonito y da al lago. El el agua de la regadera no sale muy caliente. El internet falla mucho en la habitación. Por eso creo que $4 mil por noche es muy caro.

Plaza Chapala Hotel
No food or wine bottle permitted in room. The room was immediately behind area of check-in, so could hear all that noise. no outside window. Closet area smelled very moldy. That said it was a very good location and the breakfast was good and the room was clean.
