When I first arrived the gentleman behind the front desk was very cold. No hello. No welcome. Took my passport, handed it to a woman and put my key on the counter. Maybe he was having a bad day. The woman was very friendly and welcoming as was the entire staff all around the hotel. I tried to take a nap before dinner as I was not feeling well and even with turning the heat on high I was shivering. Freezing cold. Three layers plus a thick hoody, socks, warm pants and the three blankets. I thought I was getting very ill. I questioned the staff and they immediately sent two great guys up to my room. After investigating for a few minutes they discovered that a staff member shut off the heat for the entire floor. They actually told me that other rooms were colder than mine. They reacted immediately by turning on heat and even brought up a space heater to my room. When I I returned from dinner the temperature in my room was wonderful. Great job folks!! The breakfast at this hotel is amazing. It was my 11th hotel that I’ve stayed at on my trip and it was by far the best. The hotel and room were spotless. Very clean. The shower was very big which was a pleasure. The shower does have a drain issue but it was still fabulous with high pressure hot water. Over all it was a great visit and I highly recommend this property. All businesses have issues and what makes the best ones stand out is how the handle those issues. Don’t pass this gem up. Grazie!

Very unwelcome front desk personnel

The hotel has the best location, the food at their restaurant is very good, just a little limited. The front desk personnel, very cold, no instructions or nice welcome when you arrive. Same when you depart, no how was your stay, we hope to see you again, etc if

The hotel was close to the Duomo and main shopping district. It was also in walkable distance to the site my conference was at. The room was ok, the bed was very comfortable (I do like a hard mattress). Breakfast was included and they had a variety of options every morning.
