I am very disappointed because during my stay I changed 3 rooms and there still was the same problem. Hotel has electricity problem bathroom light was blinking and getting block and then bright again and again. It was very frustrating and I requested room change. They finally did it after 3 days of complaining. Next room has exactly same problem. And then they change our room again and couple hours before check out I saw that new room also has a problem with lights. Plus that breakfast was same all the time scrambled eggs and we got tired and didn’t have a breakfast last 2 days. I initially book the room for 3 people and one of my friend couldn’t come with us and I still pay full for her breakfast as well. They said no refunds. And because they had a light / electricity issue they switched us to the smaller room. Anyway this hotel was quite bad experience for me.

I stayed at this hotel because my daughter came for a summer course at Bocconi University. Its walking distance to university. From Milan Center Duomo area its about 25 min walk. Easy access to metro and bus. Hotel is good. Clean. Air Conditioner Worked. Breakfast included. Staff very helpful with answering questions to get around. Good Experience overall.

Helpful desk clerks
This hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet and the desk clerks were all so kind and helpful. They accommodated a request for early check in, called a doctor who was at my room in 30 minutes, and when my taxi canceled and ghosted me had another taxi at the hotel in 10 minutes. The neighborhood has many good and inexpensive places to eat nearby. Would stay here again. Only drawbacks are the room didn't get much daylight and the public tram isn't very convenient for getting to the City Center. Overall though, I would definitely return. Thanks so much for the wonderful service.

How can an Italian Hotel only offer tea and no coffee in the rooms, even when you ask? Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. Be prepared to take a 20 min walk to the city centre, or catch a taxi.

City break at the Hotel D'Este
The hotel is well situated, around 25 minute walk to the city centre. There was more going on in this part of the city than I had expected, in terms of bars and restaurants. The staff were efficient and helpful.

Nice guy on check in. Had a first floor room. It was quiet. Apart from the normal hustle and bustle. Got the best night sleep I’d had in ages. 10 hours. Breakfast also good.

A local neighborhood.
The hotel is fine, comfortable, feels safe, helpful service. The location is in a neighborhood close to university, canals, shops and restaurants, a 20 minute tram or cab from the Duomo or central station. Gave a chance to discover areas new to us adding to our positive perception of Milan.

Perfect affordable spot in Milano
Breakfast was very nice and beautifully set up worth every extra penny. AC was set on 20.5 which for any American will be too hot and the last nights we slept with the window open but got ate up by mosquitos. Overall a great place close to everything, walking distance to the Duomo or you can take the tram that stop right by the hotel. Staff very helpful with arranging transportation anywhere you need to go.
