The hotel is located in a very convenient spot, just a short walk to the metro that takes you directly to the city center in under 10 minutes. The building itself is very old but nicely restored, with a charming garden at the back where breakfast is served — definitely a highlight.
On the downside, the stay felt a bit pricey, especially once the additional tourist city tax was added (in this case €6 per person, which wasn’t made very clear in advance). Rooms are quite small; we were upgraded to a larger one, but even that felt cramped, so I can only imagine how small the regular rooms might be. Fine for a one-night stop, but not ideal for a longer stay, especially with kids.
The staff were very professional and friendly, which made the experience pleasant. Parking, however, was a challenge — there’s no free option except for limited street space along the curb, which is hard to access.
Overall, a good short-stay choice if convenience matters most, but not the best value for money considering the extra costs and room sizes.
