Very nice stay. Very helpful receptionist. The regular barman in the evening couldn’t have been nicer. Walkable distance to train station and metro (which you should use cause it’s easy and safe). About a 20 minute walk from the duomo. Overall we had a great trip.

If it could go wrong, it did

Everything seemed to go wrong. The HVAC in room did not work properly. It got way too hot during the stay, had to keep the door open in January. There was no conditioner or washcloth in the bathroom. The stopper in the sink was broken. The Wifi on the 1B floor stopped working on second day. When I turned on the jets in the tub they spat out dirty black crud that smelled like raw sewage. And then on my last day when I went to open the door again to get fresh air, the curtain fell on my head, coming detached from it's very flimsy attachment. Oh, and the key is attached to a metal ball that weighs like a kilogram, so was not able to carry it with me. Definitely would not recommend or ever stay again. Oh, and when I told them all this, they didn't do anything, didn't even offer a discount.

The lobby and bar areas can't be faulted and the staff were friendly at reception. It is apparently under renovation but the room we had felt like a throwback from the 70s and not in a nostalgic way. The electrics were muddled and there were stains on the dressing gown and one of the sheets. One of the jets from the bath, when accidentally turned on kept blowing off and chucked out a load of dirt. I'm sure it could be 4 stars after renovating but didn't feel it compared to other 4 star hotels we've stayed at in Italy.

4 Star Hotel with 5 Star Service

Even if I tried hard to find something negative to say about the hotel, there's nothing that would come to my mind. Great service, great location. Breakfast was very good as well. Reasonably priced. I'd definitely book this hotel again for my next trip to Milan! Grazie mille!

Classic Italian bad hotel, the room had a king bed for the two of us but a table with 1 chair, there are two columns at the foot of the bed and the tv is on the other side of the room, so only one person can watch tv from the bed, there more wrong with the room. This is a classic example of italian hotels some are ok, but I had a lot of bad experiences in expensive pretentious and bad hotels like this one

Lovely hotel, highly recommended . All the staff were professional and friendly. Room was immaculately clean - we requested a balcony if possible and received a wonderful room overlooking the pretty courtyard with a balcony. Thank you. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. All the public rooms were fantastically decorated - lots to look at. Would definitely stay here again.
