It’s a shame because the hotel itself is real nice. Was given an upgrade. The thing that lets it down is the surrounding area. It was recommended by the tattoo Milano convention - unknown why as it wasn’t close by! The walk in and out of the hotel is unsafe and very dark. Wouldn’t advise walking alone. The estate is very dark and hotel surrounded by abandoned high rise buildings, I would literally have to run to the hotel was very scary. There isn’t a convenient food store nearby or a place to dine so had to resort to pizza from the hotel. The menu is limited in the restaurant they don’t even serve pasta or spaghetti. A sandwich or salad can be purchased to take to the room although over €10!
There is tea and coffee in the rooms but no milk provided for tea I would’ve had to have brought from the bar for €3 each time. The rooms are lovely although there was a mesh area in the ceiling with pipes and systems visible this needs to be boarded up, air con was quite noisy and heard a constant clicking sound at night which worried me a bit.
Overall hotel and staff lovely just let down by surrounding area. Due to this I wouldn’t go back.
