The hotel was close to everything. Very walkable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Peyman was so very helpful with dining recommendations and things to do. The hotel was beautifully decorated. They even put a dog bowl and bed in our room for our baby girl. Will definitely stay there again

Consider staying for authentic Italian experience

The front desk was very helpful and provided us with a lot of good information. Breakfast was excellent. The room was very large over looking the street. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Location, style, staff. We had a good stay here. The little street that the hotel is in, is one of the best - it's tucked in behind the main areas but has a couple of bars, restaurants and alot of activity around. We enjoyed being right there, but not on Main Street. The staff are lovely and helpful, the hotel is boutique and nicely fitted out. Taxi from Centrale was 16-18 euro and we could walk everywhere else.

The property is a converted old building. There are rooms and suites. Our room was at best mediocre and half-restored. It took 4 days for the A/C to be fixed. The bathroom was old. The shower had no holding bars and the floor discharge point had a separate cover that moved away and became unsafe. The sink was barely flowing, fixed quickly but by the time we left (5 days later) was plugging again. Breakfast was OK, worse than in the Rome hotel and much more limited than in any 4* hotel in Madrid. Breakfast service was bad with the exception of the days when a bearded gentleman took care of things. The only positive memory (relatively speaking) of my stay at the hotel was the young Iranian lady that did the evening turn. She was really helpful. I don't recommend this hotel and the 4* is unwarranted.
