Property in great location next to central station. Check in took a long time and it was very hot and uncomfortable waiting. Room was basic but clean and had everything you would need fridge was welcomed as room was very hot. Did not have balcony but we did have doors that opened to fire escape so was nice to step outside for some fresh air. The heating was constantly in hot and despite trying would not go to lower temp. We did leave cake out and woke it with it covered in ants but we did leave food out. Would stay again as great location and made it easy to get around Milan.

The lovely lady on reception made my trip. I cannot remember her name but she was so incredibly kind! I wish I got to stay for a few more nights! But now I know, I will definitely be back

It was very close to the train station. We stayed there for one night. Our room was very clean, had a nice bathroom. Mini fridge is not free, even regular bottled water was 3 euros. Check in and check out was good. it was cold in the room because we were there in between the seasons so they provided us with extra blankets which kept us warm. Overall it was a good stay, I have nothing negative to say.

My family and I stayed in three Standard Double Rooms in October 2024. Unfortunately, none of the rooms had air conditioning, nor was there an option to turn on the fan. The temperature for two of the rooms stayed at 24.5°C, while one room reached 27.5°C. We asked the front desk if they could turn on the AC, but they informed us that city regulations prevent air conditioning during this time of year. The staff mentioned that the heater was inadvertently on in the room set to 27.5°C and offered to turn it off. However, this didn’t resolve the issue, and the temperature remained the same. We had to keep the window open to cool the room down, but this created new concerns. Our room was on the main floor next to an entrance door, and the window lacked any safety bars—anyone could have easily climbed in. We found it challenging to sleep due to the lack of security, the frequent noise from people coming in and out, and the smell of smoke from guests and staff taking breaks nearby. Overall, the lack of temperature control and the safety concerns made for an uncomfortable experience.

Our stay at Spice Hotel was short and sweet and I was happy it was that way. We were only here for one night and we could not wait to leave. The moment we walked into our hotel room, it was 28.2 degrees. They didn’t mention it to us at the reception that the Air Conditioning was turned off for the season - I had to read it from a previous review. We were on the ground floor which meant we had to keep our window open for some fresh air - but it was extremely easy for someone to 1) look into our room and 2) basically climb into our room. Staff was not very friendly. The bed was extremely hard and only gave us one pillow each. The shower curtain makes absolutely no sense as all the water just comes out. The sink was very leaky all night and the TV never got any proper connection and was always lagging. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There’s other hotels around the area that are much more safer and don’t make you feel like you need to be on your guard all night.

Hotel is great but as soon as you step out at night you feel like you will get robbed. This feeling is only at night. During the day it is fine and feels safe. Room was great as well.

Good location to Central Station and Metro and numerous restaurants. The staff was poor in responding to requesting extra pillows three times. The hotel said the air-conditioning was turned off for the season so the room was extremely warm so we had to sleep with the door open to the balcony, which was, terribly loud and noisy all night .
