Great service, but hotel is in desperate need of r

We booked a 'deluxe 2 queen beds' room. There was NOTHING deluxe about it. It had 2 double beds, not queen beds. The entrance is nice, but from there, everything is rundown, falling apart. In the room, the shower head was falling off, so all the waters was spraying the back wall and out of the shower, the refill bottles in the shower with complimentary soaps were all empty and it was starting to rust off the wall. The carpet in the room felt really gross, no one in my family wanted to go barefoot, the curtains on the window were stained and torn. The pool area is falling apart...literally, the pool was all cracked, ceiling falling down, walls must've had water damage, half of them were plastered over, but only half way repaired with plaster all over the floor. And the pool water was cloudy, kids usually wear goggles to swim underwater, but they couldn't see. The breakfast area lady was wonderful though. It is only cold, prepackaged foods and some fresh fruit. Front desk guy was nice also.

No shuttle

They advertised a free shuttle but after check in told us they were not doing it anymore. They gave no sort of compensation except to say we could get a refund and find another hotel which we did. They entire reason for choosing this hotel was the shuttle so we didn’t have to drive and deal with traffic and parking costs,

You get what you pay for. The pool was closed during our stay which was unfortunate because my family looked forward to using it. The rooms were clean for the most part, but our room was missing the mini fridge, as well as a trash can while our family member’s room had these things. There only microwave we found was in the lobby and it was very unclean. Overall, the staff was pretty nice and informative, but they should double check rooms and amenities before guests utilize them.

No restaurant, no room cleaning unless you schedule it before 9am but even when I did, nobody cleaned the room. Room itself was very dirty. What looked like some sort of red liquid (blood?) was dried on the wall under the nightstand. Sheet pulled off the bed to reveal a urine stained mattress! Gross dirt ground into desk chair.

I was extremely disappointed that my room was not available 2 1/2 hours after check in time. I was told to check back at midnight and I said I wasn’t going to be that late so she suggested 11:00. I wanted to get in my room to freshen up after a three hour car ride before going to the baseball game.
