The Hilton is labyrinthine in the most fun way. It's easy— and fun— to get lost here during a convention. The suites are superb.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was cold when we got there we called maintenance and they said it was an old heating system. The room warmed up after they did something, but then was too hot during the night and we had a hard time sleeping. They moved us into a different room the next day. When we took our shoes off and we’re walking around the room our socks got wet because the rug around the bed was wet. They said there had been some type of issue with the water. The room Was definitely not worth $200 a night. The only good thing was that it was close to the Baird Center and it had good food at the pub. They gave us credit for parking in the parking ramp, but when we left, we had to pay 38 more dollars because we were five minutes past the limit. The hotel was beautiful, but we would not stay there again for that price or really any price. And they couldn’t give us a refund because we booked it through a third-party.

Bathrooms near lobby were not pleasant. No toilet paper, garbage on the floor, and toilet seat messy. Guests in the adjoining room were up past 2 am talking. They weren’t doing anything wrong, but walls/door were super thin and kept us up until they went to sleep.

This is a historic propery with nice and old character. The interior is outdated but they had started renovations. It is conveniently linked with a sky bridge to the Baird center. However, not every room has a fridge. None of the rooms has a microwave. Dining in the area is pricey. The service however, is excellent.
