Best Hotel Happy Hour

When we arrived we went to the hotel for happy hour and grab a quick snack. The restaurant won best new restaurant in 2024. The food was amazing and the happy hour specials included beer draft, cocktails and shrimp and oysters for $1.00 each piece.

No drawers for clothes in the Jr Suite?????…..and bed side night stands were small and useless. Should have 3 drawer wider night stands. Air conditioner had a mind of its own. Coffee table in the suite part of the room as very heavy, thus difficult to move and use the sofa bed. Great space, but inefficient because of furniture choices. Really a shame…..Hope you didn’t use a designer.

Trying to be upscale…

My mom made the comment that this hotel is trying to be upscale, but it’s not. I agree and was a bit disappointed when we could’ve paid half the price elsewhere. The service was excellent, no issue there. The food was also good at the restaurant. Our room had a dirty floor and crumbs on the desk. There were also lots of dirt/crumbs all over the hallway carpet. The ambiance of the room was lacking as well. There were two beds and that’s it. It was a wheelchair accessible room, so one would expect more space to maneuver (which it had). However, there wasn’t even a table and chairs (aside from the desk against the wall). The hallways and elevators were a bit beat up as well.
