Hotel has character. I extended my stay and needed to change rooms. Rather than checkout, wait 4 hours and check back in, a wonderful agent named Precious made some calls to housekeeping so we just needed to checkout and immediately check-in and move to the room next door. Great customer service.

It was great, the hotel is super well located and has some very nice particularities that make the stay unique. I like the "old" arquitecture, and decorations, so found the place very interesting.

I had read several reviews before booking this place. On the outside & lobby area it was very nice. They gave us a room on the 4th floor & not sure what anything else looked like other than that. The room was clean but dated. The bathroom was very small which was ok but we had extreme difficulty getting the shower to work. Also walls apparently had no insulation & the 3 people in the room beside us stayed up the entire night partying & then at7am started having very loud sex (which I’m definitely not against) but if I’d had kids with me I don’t know what the hell i would’ve have told them. Also smoking I guess is allowed because it came through the vents in our room. If I’d had booked 2 nights I would have cancelled the 2nd night. Would not ever stay here again.

I thought this place was really neat. The building has a lot of cool historic architecture. Neat crown molding and floors. The doors for the rooms are cool looking too. The room was spacious. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh.

A great find! Historic, eclectic, clean and quiet. Great location, we took the city bikes straight down the road to fiserv forum. Reasonably priced, street parking instead of high priced garages.

The only few notes I had were: 1) The parking lot should have a sign near the gate so you know that it's the right place instead of having to guess and hope you got it right. 2) The bed bangs into the wall if you are... *Clears throat*. It would be an easy fix if you used a couple rubber washers where it bolts to the wall. 3) Inside was beautiful but easy to get lost. If you could put up a few more direction signs (on doors perhaps?) so you know where you are going that would make it pretty close to a perfect place to stay. But considering everything my stay was great. The fact that it was like that studio apartment you wished you could afford after college but it was out of your price range was really fun for me and my husband. The food at the Knick was fabulous! And I am horrible with names but Jada? was so sweet! Loved her at check in! She made me feel like my bestie was right downstairs if I needed anything. The price I paid was incredible for the value of being so close to the lake that you have a great place for a run with a view that you can get lost in. It was really magical and a well kept secret that travelers will not be disappointed by. Keep up the good work!
