It’s a well-appointed and generously-sized room. The walls were a touch thin, though this was mostly an issue because someone next door was wearing hard-soled shoes on the wood floor. The only real complaint was the mysterious inability of the air conditioning to stay on. After a seemingly random interval (in the range of hours), it would simply stop, and the only way to restart it was to power it off and on. There was no indication on the control panel that it was no longer working, and the co from panel looked exactly the same after power cycling it. Odd.

Room was very clean, the staff was friendly and respectful. Fairly close to everything however the surrounding areas were a bit unpleasant. Parking is not included, it's offside about 5 blocks away with a discounted fee.

Very convenient for Old town Malaga and easy to get to. Smooth online check-in process and a very nice, modern and clean room.

We enjoyed the stay at Riu Malaga as first of all the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The servers were very available and arranging. Food was pretty good and the atmosphere was laid back to help with the vacation mood. I would visit this property again. Thank you.

This was the perfect property in the perfect location! It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Be Mate staff were brilliant, with great communications before and during our stay. They did everything possible to make our stay easy and comfortable and were on hand all the time to help with any queries. I can suggest no improvements (apart from perhaps a wardrobe / draws for clothes rather than an open hanging space) - but that is minor! Highly recommended for a perfect Malaga city break.

Great hotel and location is perfect

First at arrival, greeting by staff was very warm and friendly. Sergio went above and beyond accommodating anything we asked for. Rooms were very nice with plenty of amenities, one thing for sure that we really enjoyed is the shower in the room. Outside pool area is really nice with great views, freindly bar service and DJ music in the afternoons. The only thing they can improve is if the cocktails can have a little more alcohol level, it's probably my personal opinion. Parking service great to have since we h ad rental, and the location was perfect not too far from busy area of Marbella and close enough to Estepona. Will definitely stay here again!
