Our stay at Riu Palace Zanzibar was absolutely outstanding from beginning to end. This is truly a five-star resort in every sense. The staff is what makes this place so special. Every single person we met was incredibly kind, caring, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it made us feel at home throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and impeccably maintained. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and spotless. The bed was excellent, housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and all the common areas were always immaculate. The food was delicious. Although we weren’t able to try the specialty restaurants because they were fully booked during our stay, the Pomegranate buffet restaurant exceeded our expectations. There was a great variety of fresh, flavorful food at every meal. One thing that really stood out to us was seeing how much the hotel seems to invest in the local community by employing so many people. It was wonderful to see such a large, dedicated team, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. Honestly, I can’t think of anything that needs improvement. We had no negative experiences at all. Riu Palace Zanzibar exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious, and memorable stay in Zanzibar.

Amazing resort, perfect for relaxing and the friendliest staff with the F&B team going above and beyond. We had a lovely private dinner on the beach on our last night which was a perfect end to an unbelievable stay. Highly recommended and will be back.

Fabulous. Team is improving property to keep up with use but what makes this place magic are the PEOPLE. Wow — words do not suffice to express the care and comfort they offer.
