We picked this property randomly as a stopover on a long road trip and were only looking for a clean bed. Instead we got a lovely setting, kind and hospitable hosts, and an excellent dinner. We highly recommend if you enjoy family run inns with charm and hospitality. We weren’t traveling with children, but this would be a great place to stay with a family.

A very nice overnight stay

We had a very nice overnight stay on our way back home through Sweden. The hotel is well-situated in the middle of nature, just off the highway but far enough to not hear traffic noise. Breakfast offered a small but good selection. Overall a bit pricey but nice.

The restaurant (dinner & breakfast) was very good. Nice surroundings. The room was very simple. We booked a family room with a bunk bed because we travelled with our adult children. This bunkbed turned out to be only suitable for children however. It would be better if the hotel mentioned this online, instead of saying the room is suitable for 4 adults.

Rummet vi fick var tyvĂ€rr vĂ€ldigt dĂ„ligt stĂ€dat vid ankomst. Redan efter första natten hĂ€ngde vi upp dörrskylten om att vi önskade stĂ€dning, men det enda som byttes ut var handdukarna. Det fanns spindelnĂ€t runt elementen, nötter lĂ„g kvar under nattduksbordet, och det var fullt med hĂ„rstrĂ„n bĂ„de i duschen och pĂ„ lakanen. Frukosten levde heller inte upp till förvĂ€ntningarna – utbudet var mycket begrĂ€nsat och motsvarade inte vad man brukar förvĂ€nta sig av en hotellfrukost.

Ett trevligt hotell med mysig miljö för promenader och avskildhet. Helt perfekt som bas om man vill utforska omrÄdena runtomkring. Bra sÀng, lagom stort rum och frukosten med nybakat bröd var god. Men, ingen flÀkt eller luftkonditionering fanns pÄ rummet! DÄ utetemperaturen var +31 pÄ dagtid blev det outhÀrdligt varmt i rummet. Jag har funderat pÄ att ha detta som bas under ett par dagar, men bestÀmde mig ganska snabbt att det inte funkade. Synd, pÄ ett annars trevligt stÀlle!
