Amazing view of ocean. Tide goes out for ever. Families, dogs all enjoying the sand bars. Renovation in one area. Seems to affect lack of hot food in restaurant. Regular coffee should be in room. Not just espresso. Too strong for many of us. Bath soap missing from dispensers.

This property is amazing. My family loved the outdoor pool, ocean view, beach access, and outdoor seating areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and relaxing. The Nespresso coffee machine was a bonus! We loved it and will go back.

A pretty good hotel. It's an oldie that's been renevated probably a few times since I went here 30+ years ago! Only real problem we had was that our television never really worked in our room. Staff had a look, but it stopped working the next morning regardless. We didn't have an ocean view or balcony, so that was too bad. All in all, it was clean and quiet for our stay.

Parksville Little Gem

Beautiful property with gorgeous views. The rooms are updated and incredibly clean. The only “ding” on a literally perfect room would be the patio. The patio had a fantastic ocean view but the AC unit and subsequent tubes and lines are attached on the wall and drain into a roof in front of the patio along with the other AC units. But really is anyone looking anywhere else than the gorgeous views of the ocean? This hotel Is located in a good spot with lots to do and see around it. Another great perk and the reason we chose this location was they allowed dogs and had a welcome bag for our dog. Fantastic touch. Highly recommended hotel and would 100% stay again.

The food at the resort was absolutely amazing and so was the restaurant staff. All servers were terrific, telling us about spots to check out and new beaches to visit. The restaurant staff made the trip amazing and we looked forward to their cheerful disposition and touring ideas. The cleaning staff were super friendly and welcoming. Rooms are well cleaned. Great ocean and beach views. 10 minute walk to the beach board walk and park. Great area for kids. There is an awesome outdoor pool and lounge area plus indoor pool. Totally kid friendly place. Kids menu was great and priced low. I would have expected to pay more for the meals. We stayed 10 days. Rooms are noisy with lots of dogs barking as this resort allows pets and people would leave them in the room and take off for the evening. I read reviews talking about room noise and would certainly agree with most of those comments - hearing lots of snoring, washroom - we could hear it all from the next rooms. The beds are super comfy and make up for the evening noise. We did have the town balcony view however it turned out to be a view of the HVAC shed on the roof - so a terrible view. I would have expected a different room/view when staying 10 days.
