Loved our recent staycation! Ordered room service and the food was excellent! I had the braised beef short ribs - fall off the bone! My mom and friend had the fish and chips. We ate every bite! The indoor/ outdoor pool was heated but could’ve been a little warmer since it’s under half a roof and it was raining. Enjoyed it anyway! Will definitely be back again! Love that it was pet friendly because my cat had the best time jumping off one bed to the next lol He even curled up in the dog bed.

Beachfront and private, rooms recently renovated. Only downside was unsettling vibration hum from the fan in the AC/heat unit out on the balcony. Had earplugs and reported to the staff in the morning during checkout. restaurant is very good. Overall excellent stay accept for noise mentioned.

the hotel staff were excellent in customer service. The dining room staff were very accommodating. My wife uses a walker, staff made sure that she did not have to be challenged by stairs.The facility is old but very well maintained. The grounds overlooking the water are amazing. It was very easy for my wife to use her walker on the walking paths as we got to enjoy the fantastic weather and view. If we return to Parksville, this hotel will be our Island home
