Don't stay at Days Inn

At the check-in I asked for a toddler mattress and they didn’t have one to offer us. We had to adapt the room the best way we could so our son wouldn’t fall from the bed. I was really not surprised about the “free” (included o the cost of the room) continental breakfast to be very dull and not tasty at all. Unfortunately there was mould on our bathroom shower walls (see photo). The carpet was so dirty that my son’s feet became gray after walking barefoot on it for a couple hours. There was something sticky on it, like sap or something worse. The kitchen utensils were dirty too. The kitchenette is a joke! The stove is about 2 feet away from the bed. If you cook anything there the whole place will smell. The mini fridge was very old and couldn’t keep our food at the right temperature. The AC is very noisy and very little efficient. The black out shades were flaking and the sun light passed through it in patches. I had a situation and I offered to pay half stay for a late checkout (later than noon) and it was denied. Seems like “No” is the standard answer for any request. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was the pool, but we couldn’t use it because it was way too cold. As you might have read in other reviews… the staff at the front desk is very unfriendly. Lesson learned: I will never stay in a Days Inn hotel ever again. What a disaster!

Room was clean, all the conveniences minus lotion which would be nice to include. Pool & hot tub nice. Breakfast a little hectic, kids coughing & we were locked out of our room as it wasn't coded for 2 nights, just 1. Overall good property though.

The room was a 2 bedroom suite and only one room had air conditioning and it was hot and sticky the room For what I paid had a horrible creepy junk yard out of the windows.the fan in the bathroom did not work. Would not recommend

The property is clean however the obvious need for repairs and seeing repairs in progress (e.g., paint patches on stairwell walls) detracted from the stay. Getting into and out of the property (right on a curve of the highway) made me nervous (especially leaving). Having a mirror to show traffic coming north on the highway would be helpful.

There were mice running around the front lobby when we checked in. Staff did not seem to care when we pointed out the mice. We asked for no pet room, I think we were put in a pet friendly room, the door looked chewed, it was run down, paint splotches all around the bathroom, pink mold around the bathtub and sink/ and on sink plug. Black mold on ceilings. Hallway smelled like dog pee. Pool looked unclear - water was extremely murky not clear. We did not eat in the restaurant due to mice running around the entrance. Picture on website look nothing like hotel. It was old, run down in desperate need of upgrades. cleaning and repairs. If there was option to add pictures I would to show the state of the room. Advised the front desk of state of room and was just told they would pass on to management. Will not stay here again.
