Great little hotel

A great little hotel with beach access. The staff were super helpful and friendly with free popcorn and coffee in reception. You also get free mini golf next door.

Our room was renovated and was very clean. Our only comments are- only 1 hook to hang towels on and only 1 tiny garbage can in bathroom. Our room was a kitchenette and no garbage in the main unit. Everything else was great.

I had a fall on the stairs at the hotel due to a tripping hazard. I notified two front desk employees, and reached out several times via email to ask about what they could do to rectify the hazard. It has been almost a month with no response, I am quite disappointed. Nobody even asked how I was doing. I have had a great time staying at the Tide’s Inn in the past, but I’m not sure if I will return due to this lack of follow up and attention.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, tv etc all worked. Close to the beach, but the path down was pretty rough. The free minigolf was great. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Cons - parking was an issue if there are too many trucks. People smoking pot by the roadside were annoying, the smell keeps being blown towards the hotel. The room could do with some more clothes hooks and a bigger mirror. But overall, very happy with our stay.

Spacious room, musky smell. No beach access, walking down was a trek to a full rock beach. Mattresses and pillows are in need of replacing. We enjoyed our stay regardless. The staff is impeccable so welcoming and always there for you. They go above and beyond. The snacks, coffee and unlimited popcorn was a hit with all of us. Having the mini golf park and laundry facilities in the castle next door was a bonus. Reasonably priced games and your mini putt game is on them when you stay with there neighbors. :) Very happy with the dishes, utensils, toaster etc.. made us cut on expenses. Parksville beach is 4 min away and you can walk for miles in the hot sandy water. Amazing place for kids of all ages. Recommend this inn. Will be staying there again, please change your mattresses ;)
