Disappointing stay

Our room was dated and had a musty smell. We booked a studio room which was very small with little storage space. It overlooked a trailer park and the road which was not as relaxing as we had hoped. Housekeeping was very poor - we had to call every day to remind them to come to the room. One day we had the do not disturb sign on the door and housekeeping just barged into the room. No apology or from her or anything.

Staff are so genuine, helpful, and friendly. We brought a lady with significant disabilities, and staff immediately suggested we try their Mobi Beach Wheelchair (belongs to City of Parksville, but stored at hotel). Amazing experience! Will definitely be back!

The property is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. But.. just be aware, the Resturant and Lounge close at 9:00 pm. So if you come back from an outing, or a music festival like we were at you cannot get anything to eat or drink after 9pm, room service is even shut down, not acceptable for a place that charges Resort rates to stay there!

Our stay was amazing. Highly recommend anybody wanting to stay in Parksville. The beach was just outside the hotel with many food options and attractions within 10 mins drive.
