Served it's purpose

We were flying out of Tijuana early in the morning, so this hotel was in a convenient location. I liked the parking structure. The guest attendant, Reggie, had some issues with his hygiene (bad dandruff and visible scars, probably from eczema, on his arms). The room had nice new flooring, but everything else was average. The new windows were not installed properly so there was a gap which brought in a lot of noise from the freeway.

I did not stay here; my reservation was cancelled last minute claiming my card was decline; however, I went to the Hilton nearby and used the same credit card and worked just fine. I think they over booked because I saw the rude manager turn others away. The service was terrible and I would not book here again.

The staff was very rude, the room smelled like smoke, there was no blankets only two sheets on both mattresses, we had to ask for towels every day, the hot tub was so full of bleach. It burned our eyes. The hotel is in a rough neighborhood.

I wouldn’t stay here again—even if I were paid to do so. When we arrived, the room had no towels, but it still contained the previous occupant’s soap in the shower and, I assume, the cleaner’s rag. Housekeeping never came, despite this being a multi-night stay. Each night featured a variety of noises, including trains, police sirens, and the thumping bass of cars driving around the parking lot. The noise might have been masked by the sound of the AC/heating unit, but when it’s on, the TV has to be turned up to maximum volume just to hear anything. The best part of this hotel is its location next to I-5—but you’ll hear the traffic all night long.

Our room recked of smoke. Sticky floors, no ice in the ice machine, no breakfast included,had to hold on to the coffee filter to make coffee, no hair dryer, Dora was nice but Reggie the manager was not friendly. We paid for 3 nights but had to get out of there the last day because it was so bad.

Service was great!! Going up to 6th floor from car garage was easy and everything needed a key card and that made me feel more safe. Costumer service was great!! The party that downstairs has late at night was a big loud but didn’t bother us. We wanted to check that out but didn’t have time. The pool was decently clean and my kids had a blast. The only thing that I didn’t like was we were only given 2 towels at a time and none for the pool. I have 2 daughters with slot of hair so the towels got wet very fast and took a long time to dry.

This hotel was dirty and with roaches. There was someone canceling their stay while we were checking in due to roaches in the mini fridge. We checked in and then we saw one crawling on the floor by the bed, I killed it and that was the only one we saw throughout our stay.

If I could rate my stay at this location less than 1 star I would. The minute I walked in the hotel, another guest was leaving warning me that her room had black mold and was leaving and to check my room. When I walked into my room it reeked of cigarettes, there were multiple stains on both beds and when I called the front desk to get the beds changed, they said housekeeping left for the night but they found bedding in the basement and we would put it on ourselves. Whoopie! (Not) When I came down to ask for a refund, the staff wasn’t in the least surprised to hear what I found in the room and immediately gave me a refund. Long story short, if you’re looking for a hotel to stay at, don’t stay at this one.

Our last experience staying in Ramada National City is totally dissapointing, we choose this hotel because of the great experiences we had in our past stays, but this time was not a good one, our room was dirty, the floors were covered with dust and residue, the fridge leaked, i had to request for the room to be cleaned and was informed that they clean every three days despite of the state of the room. They allegedly cleaned the room and for my surprise the trash and dust were swept out and found them sitting in the entrance to my room. The AC made so much noise we couldnt sleep while using it, the bathroom extractor fan didnt work at all making the bathroom hot and full of steam. We loved to stay in this hotel but our recent visit has made me change my mind about using Ramada for our next trip. A word of advice: look for other lodging choices.

The whole day was encountering glitches that needed extra effort from me to resolve. Your Sat. 2am desk agent was very patient with me, learning I'm 24/7 caregiver to my 98-year-old mother he empathized with my needing respite. A few miles from the hotel I forgot its name & address. My cell charging cable was broken so my maps & email apps kept crashing. With no hotspot my laptop was useless. I ended up parked at a hi-rise -- Ramada by Wyndham but didn't recognize I'd booked there. An hour finding my good cable, waiting for a sufficient charge, forgetting my password was infuriating. Checking in, my card declined the deposit and my cell battery was exhausted again. They had no **USB ports so I had to go find my charger to plug-in & more waiting at check-in to use my banking app to transfer money. After check-out I was 15 miles down the road at a gas station with no cash & missing my wallet. I called the front desk. Dora would have someone check the room. They found it on the pillow! I don't have enough fuel to return nor cash to get more. I returned some merchandise for cash, drove to pick-up my wallet. There were many people at the desk all talking to the agent whose eyes were spinning. Dare I? Yes, I snuck my room key around the crowd handing it to him and whispered 'wallet'. His face lit up, and moments later I'm on the road. Every one of your staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful going a long way to my enjoyable stay at Ramada by Wyndham. Thank you.
