Neuville-Saint-Vaast Vacation Packages

Lovely single room that was perfect. It actually didn’t feel small as had shelving and even a little desk. Tea and coffee in the room. Shower was lovely. Staff helpful when I worried about a cat shut in a neighbouring building. And Blue the cat is friendly and desperate to get to your room with you but the signs say no!! Haha

Small, hot room with limited facilities My room at Hotel Brueghel was very small and lacked basic amenities such as a kettle, tea or coffee. One bottle of water was provided, which you then had to refill yourself. The room was uncomfortably hot, even in mid-October. Opening the window was not a practical option because of the noise from the main street, which continued until late at night. There was also no proper shower, only a bath with a handheld shower attachment that you had to hold throughout. I appreciate that accommodation in central Lille is expensive, but I would look elsewhere for a more comfortable room with better facilities.

The room was beautifully appointed, with the bathroom and changing area well separated from the sleeping area. The balcony gave a nice view of nearby architecture. The location of the hotel was in walking distance to the main Republic plaza, dining, and the Palais des Beaux Arts. The Citadel park, also in walking distance, served as a viewing point of the solar eclipse. Eurostar train service to London and other locations in mainland Europe was a short 20 min walk away. The buffet breakfast was excellent and I especially appreciated the water spiggets on each floor to fill up your water bottle with either plain filtered or carbonated water. The front desk was mostly helpful, although one woman could have used additional customer support training in cheerfully answering questions. The room was cooled to a comfortable temperature, a welcome respite from the outside heat wave. All in all a wonderful experience. I would return.

Fabulous hotel. Amazing friendly staff. Very helpful. Highly recommend it to you.
