Varning för premiumrummen, de har bara ett takfönster som inte går att öppna och en mullrande AC som dessutom inte var igång när vi kom till rummet så det var väldigt instängt och varmt. Som tur var löste personalen ett ok alternativt rum.

Bröllopsresan och research till nästa bok.
På bilderna som visades när jag bokade. Var tapeten blommig och det såg mysigt ut. När vi kom dit var det allt annat än mysigt. Rummet såg som en lokal som var målad i ljusblått och mörkgrått. Ingen mysig blommig tapet någonstans. Rummen var extremt litet. Toalettstolen var för barn, misstänker vi. Klinkersgolvet var sprucket och vattnet rann rakt ned i sprickorna. Om jag ska ge några plus, så ska det vara sängen och kuddarna. Jag har ryggproblem och har ofta svårt att sova på hotell. Men den här sängen var fantastiskt bra för ryggen. Även kuddarna var bra. Som annars brukar bli en grop efter huvudet. De här kuddarna fick man till och med stöd i nacken. Dessa två gör resan värd. Frukostsalen var väldigt mysig, dock alldeles för liten för alla frukosthungriga gäster. Ändå tänker jag rekommendera hotellet och en resa till Nora. För staden är magiskt vacker och pittoresk. Kolla gärna upp Maria Langs guidning. Men även Pershyttans Bergmansgård, gruvan och den guidade rundturen. Vi åkte till Nora för att fira bröllopsdag, som blev mycket lyckad. Lite inspiration till min nästa bok, fick jag också med mig hem. Ett tips till Stadshotellet. Sätt mysiga tapeter i alla rum. Istället för en känsla av industrilokal.

Romantisk men slitet hotell mitt i centrum
Hotellet ligger mitt i centrum, så det var mycket störande ljud utifrån när man skulle försöka sova. (Vi hade rum ovanför uteserveringen) Det är ett vackert gammalt hotell dock ganska slitet. Bra frukost, jättebra mat i restaurangen, genomgående bra service. Tyckte inte det var värt pengarna med superior-rum. Endast 140cm bred säng, väldigt enkelt badrum. Inget extra förutom badrockar. Säng, täcke och kuddar mkt bra förrum att det var trångt för 2 pers.

Centralt boende med risk för stök och oväsen
Bodde här tre nätter. Den första natten var ett smärre helvete med oljud från tutande A-traktorer med bilstereo på högsta volym samt stök och skrik från hotellets egen restaurang och uteservering alldeles nedanför vårt fönster. Visserligen en lördagkväll, men rummet borde varit billigare eftersom detta är något hotellet vet om är återkommande, framförallt helgkvällar. Och varför inte informera gästerna om denna sanitära olägenhet? De andra två nätterna kunde vi somna tidigare än 02.... Däremot hade restaurangen ett mycket duktigt kök och maten var delikat. Härligt med fläkt på rummet.

Överlag var vistelsen bra med lite mindre skavanker i rummet. Skön säng och sköna lakan, stor tv. På gott och ont att man är i centrum, nära till allt men stökigt på kvällarna.
