Over all very poor both the room and breakfast. Staff was kind and smiling, but didn’t speak English very well and several things were misunderstood. Glad we only had one night.

Our stay at the residence was fantastic. Daniele and Paola were always helpful and available to arrange everything we needed. The internet connection to work was PERFECT! The location is very good, only few minutes away from the beach. I would definitely recommend to stay there.

Wonderful Stay at Maya Hotel Resort! I had an amazing experience at the Maya Hotel Resort during my 7-day stay. My first impression wasn’t the best, as we arrived at night, and I couldn’t see the ocean because the tide was out. However, in the morning, the water returned, and with better lighting, I was able to fully appreciate the beauty of the resort. The staff were absolutely wonderful—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was good, though there’s definitely room for improvement. One suggestion would be to add more variety to the breakfast menu, as it was the same every day. Despite these small areas for improvement, my overall stay was amazing, and I would definitely recommend Maya Hotel Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I would love to visit again!

Place is clean but really basic and over priced. For 500$ a night you would expect absolute luxury but was really disappointed. The staff are really nice and friendly which was the only positive from the huge price paid.

Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It is an excellent choice for solo travellers, couples and families, and in my opinion, this resort is seriously underrated. From the moment we stepped onto the hotel premises, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, kind and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ally, who helped my wife organise a beautiful surprise dinner for us by the beach. It was an unforgettable experience and showed just how far the staff are willing to go to make their guests feel special. The entire hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, and the food was absolutely amazing. The resort is also very family-friendly, with a dedicated kids’ zone to keep children entertained while parents relax and enjoy their holiday. The prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality of the accommodation, service and overall experience. The photographs online do not do this place justice at all. Seeing the hotel in person was mind-blowing—it was even more beautiful and impressive than the pictures suggested. Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar truly deserves a five-star rating. We had an incredible stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

I stayed in Villa Blu for a few days and honestly one of the best Villas in Jambiani! Regina and her colleagues were all so helpful and the breakfast was very nice! The luxury, ocean view room was perfect.

I will keep this hotel in my worst list hotels which I visited in my life
