We stayed here for one night whilst travelling through Basel. The hotel is easy to reach by tram, staff were friendly and the room was fine. Only problem was that the ‘room cooling system’ was actually just a fan, so we were very hot overnight. This is a basic hotel but has everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious.

Very good location in a nice city. The family room was huge.

No refrigerator in room. It's not good for people need to put their medicine there.

A very nice place, clean, simple room, everywhere well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Nice garden to have breakfast in and the hotel is in a good location, just outside the city centre (which means it's quiet in the evenings) but only 5-10 minutes' walk from the centre (depending how fast you walk). The location also affects the price, which was very reasonable. The only thing we would have liked to have - in view of the unusually high temperatures - was AC but other than that, wonderful!

Just an amazing hotel. I’ve stayed quite regularly this year and it’s become a real favourite spot… Highly recommended, it’s in a great location in Basel and the staff are all incredible.

Hotel was wonderful and the price was so reasonable. It was in the middle of a quaint fortress old town just a couple of blocks from the Rhine River. It was super close to the train station. It made us feel like we were living 10 centuries ago but yet the hotel was totally updated and very comfortable. Would love to go back.

The location, services, & staff were great. The only problem was that I couldn’t get the AC to work.
