Very quaint motel, awesome food, the best down home hospitality.

Mini fridge broken. Loud sound when heater was turned on. No staff right away when checking out. Misleading photo. Elevator concerning sounds too. Was not worth the $400 for the night

We had a wonderful stay for one night in the Quidi Vidi room. Then we came back at the end of our trip for four nights and stayed in Port Royal room, and this one was much bigger with bigger bathroom. Both rooms were on the first floor. The manor was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of yogurt, muffins, cereal, as well as eggs freshly made with toasts and bacon or sausage. Juice, coffee, tea and milk. The staff was very kind. We loved the location and plenty of parking. There was a sitting area inside and outside.

Clean rooms. Kitchen area needs a bit of an update. Beds were comfortable with newer linens. One small elevator that smelled of smoke and stairwell also smelled of smoke - probably some guest who wasn’t adhering to no smoking policy. Otherwise acceptable and good enough stay. Prices in the city a lot higher than I expected.

The accommodation was lovely. Quiet, roomy, clean, bright and very comfortable.

Great city and great hotel will be back

A warm, charming atmosphere in the house with history, thanks to the amazing hosts! Very clean and comfortable, suitable for families with young children. Fabulous breakfast and new local snacks in the shared living room every day, together with tea and coffee options. Unforgettable vacation for the whole family.

Liked: room size and layout; easy parking and access; closet layout. Clean Disliked: room fan/ac/ heat was impossibly loud making it difficult to sleep- hear the tv or even carry on a conversation. (Room 406) -1 for that issue. Desk staff were unhelpful and not typical of my previous NL experiences. Over a 4 night stay, we engaged at check in/out and 3 questions - they couldn’t care less and were of no help.
