Old Barns Vacation Packages

Stayed on a floor that had active construction. No cold water available middle of the night. Unable to flush toilet. Had to relocate to another room for showers. Staff were friendly.

Attractive Victorian House that’s well maintained. Rooms are on the second floor. The lights from a building across the road were on all night—the shades helped, but still a distraction. Updated bathroom. No hair dryer. No TV. Wifi was slow. The owners were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Easy walk to the 3 restaurants in town. Sadly, Pictou is kind of a depressing town, though everyone was very nice. Not much there to see or do. We did a hike outside of town.

Staff excellent - breakfast very good

Great service by everyone. Breakfast has a lot of options, they serve people fast and if you ask for a cappuccino one of the ladies will make a great one. The location is safe with easy access to the highway. Highly recommended

Kevin and Leslie were wonderful hosts who served us a delicious breakfast - a most welcome treat after the typical hotel fare. The house is a beautifully renovated period home with large spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the cleanliness. Kevin loves Nova Scotia and gave us many great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit.

My husband and I had the best time!! Love everything about this property. I just book it!! Can’t wait to be back
