Property was nice. People were friendly. Didn’t care for any of the food at the restaurants so I opted not to get the all inclusive option. Pools close at 7pm. They are very clean though. The worst part is that o stayed on the six floor and there was this disgusting smell each day at certain times of the day in the hall and also on the room. Eventually I would become nose blind to it but it was heinous. Very relaxing g property though.

The property is older but well kept and maintained. The staff is very nice and accommodating. My room was a nice size, clean, and comfortable. However the A/C in the living room area made a loud banging noise every time it shut off and during the night. We didn’t report it however because I just didn’t want to move to another room or have maintenance in our room all day. Food was good. Entertainment sort of lacked. The beach is not it. You never know when the water was going to be there or not. Yes the water recedes big time off and on. You’re definitely far from the city in a secluded area. If you plan on leaving to enjoy outside of the resort, rent a car or make sure you get a taxi. Driving there yourself is crazy. I will not be back but as my first experience at this hotel it was nice.

The a la carte options were delicious, very upscale type of food with great presentation. The staff members were friendly and polite. The pool area was big but despite the best efforts of the pool attendants kids were using the adults’ pool area. The rooms were clean but the hallways had a moldy smell. We loved the lived music and the drinks at the lobby bar. Overall, I would recommend this place and will probably go back.

The place is beautiful! Rooms are comfortable and well decorated. However, i had a coffee maker with NO cups. When i asked for s cup n i was handed the flimsiest paper cup I’ve ever seen! Certainly not something i want to drink a hot cup of coffee out of!!! Also, we ordered pizza at the bar twice during our stay. The pizza was awesome! However, when two people order a pizza, i think it would be appropriate to have 2 plates served with napkins and possibly even utensils!! The first time we ordered we had to ask for plates…we got one and no utensils. The second time we got one plate and one fork!! Bar service at the pool was just as bad!! The only place we had good service was at Terra y Fugil. Excellent dinner and excellent service! I would go back for the beach and the bed but I would go in with much lower expectations!!

Over all was on point. Her are some suggestions. 1. When you book your stay make sure it states all included on the printed invoice. I booked all included drives and food. However, they claimed that did not have proof. So, I had to pay for the meals and drinks. At night some guest just slam door at all hours. I suggest placing door checks on all the doors. Overall its a great place and we diid have a great time.

Mixed Experience.... We recently stayed at the Westin Playa Bonita for two nights. While the setting and amenities were generally good, a few aspects of the stay were disappointing. The hotel felt quite crowded, and we had issues with the dining options – they were very limited, and the few choices available were always full, making it difficult to find a meal without hassle. The pool area left a lot to be desired as well. The towel service was quite poor, as they often didn’t have clean, dry towels on hand, and it took a bit of back-and-forth with staff just to get towels for my family. It was frustrating to have to negotiate for something that should have been readily available. On the positive side, the bar service in the lobby was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, providing five-star service that really stood out and made the evenings enjoyable. Overall, the hotel could improve in some areas, especially with dining and poolside service, but we appreciated the great bar experience in the lobby.
