Received a call from the motel earlier in the day, saying that we had a “late check in” (5 pm) and that they would be closed by then, so they emailed me the passcode for our room. No big deal. We get to the motel and get into our room. Maybe 15 minutes later, I can hear someone punching the code into our door key and unlock our room and walk right into our room. No knocking nothing, just unlocked the door and walked right in. I couldn’t even tell if he was staff or not, and he awkwardly laughed and said “oh yeah they said it was a late check in” and left. We were completely off guard and did not feel safe in our room, so we looked for the dead bolt on our door and it had been conveniently removed. There was no way to lock our door from the inside. We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we ended up grabbing our bags and leaving, we did not even stay at the motel and went home. To top it off, the room was filthy. The bathroom floor was covered in hair, the toilet was dirty, and there were earwigs in the bathroom sink. We are disgusted and appalled with this motel and will never be returning.

This is the most disgusting property we have ever stayed at. The place run down, filthy, no clean towels during our stay and other guests smoking in a non smoking facility. Garbage piled up in the area to access our room , the floors in the unit were so dirty our feet were black and there were bugs in the bath tub, I would never recommend this place to anyone!

My room (247) had the following problems. 1. TV not working. tried all options with the remote, but it still wouldn't connect 2. The bathroom power socket was not working. So the hairdryer and my electric shaver couldn't operate. 3. The bedroom shared its wall to the neighbouring room's bathroom. They have zero soundproofing. people talking in their bathroom was so loud and clear. I couldn't sleep till midnight because of noisy neighbours. I tried calling the manager (Virendar), but it went to his voicemail. So, I sent a text, but I did not receive a reply. We managed without these amenities. I am bit disappointed since these are basic necessities expected from a hotel room.

The property is old and underwhelming but it is very reflective of the price point. It compares favourably or better to the surrounding properties of the same quality conditions and vintage. Love it’s location along the lakeshore which for me is the strongest draw along with the price as let’s face it I’m there only to sleep! The bed was clean and comfortable and QUIET! Perfect spot for my needs.

We had a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen for a very reasonable price and it felt very spacious. I had a great night's sleep. The bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. Just one thing that we didn't like was that the bathroom fan was very noisy.

There were no staff on site after 6:00 pm. The keypad on our door stopped working but there was no one to assist us. The phone in our room had an extension to call after hours but the phone didn’t work. We eventually found an emergency number taped to the door of the office. The gentleman we called was very helpful, as was the woman who checked us in, but the lack of on site personnel was problematic. I have stayed here in the past and it’s certainly gone downhill.

ROOMS WERE NICE. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED FOR WHERE I NEEDED TO BE DURING MY STAY. NO SKETCHY PEOPLE HANGING OUT NEARBY. THE SHOWER TILES COULD USE A LITTLE BIT MORE OF A SCRUB IN THE GROUT LINES, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS PERFECT. WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING

Actually, we had an unsatisfactory stay.When we checked in to our room, the bathroom was not cleaned well,It had a couple of silverfish in the tub.In fact it was sub-par, the tv did work,but there was no hdmi cable to actually have a picture and sound. Had to call maintenance to come to rectify the problem. He was very helpful. No coffee maker, had to go back to the office to get one. And the most unsettling issue was that we discovered a mouse was running around in our suite, and was hiding under the oven the whole evening. Lastly, front desk was closed at 6pm. I've never seen that before.
