Enjoyed my stay, staff pleasant and courteous. I will stay again when in the area again. Next time I will book a balcony room overlooking those gorgeous mountains!!
Close enough to Dollywood but far enough away from the chaos. Wonderful breakfast on the 6th floor. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Clean. Kids loved the pool with the fire pit next to it.
Amazing experience! Hands down the most breath taking, relaxing, fun, GREAT hospitality. Ashley was amazing!!!!! We loved her!!!! The young lady that checked us out was amazing as well, unsure of her name (10/31). Breakfast was sooooo good with the most amazing view
This was our first time staying here and we were very pleased. The room was modern and very clean. The breakfast every morning was very good. Close to everything!
The property is clean and well maintained, also has a heated pool and gym. The free breakfast is what you would expect from a hotel. Several options but could add more fruit. I am given a 3 star because after paying for a king balcony with Mountain View I was told the only option available was an ADA first floor king “Mountain View”. You could see some mountains by looking over parking lot and behind another hotel. Since the room was ada everything was mounted/placed at shorter heights. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem even for my 6’3” husband but the bedroom tv was mounted by the door and I hit my head several times due to the awkward angle. (Disclaimer-I am very clumsy anyway) I was refused a refund for the difference in price and a take it or leave offer of points for a free night on my next booking. I created the IHG account and after 4 days still no points loaded. Finally, you have to tell the staff if you want a regular room cleaning, if not they make the bed, do not change sheets, and put some towels in the bathroom. Kitchenette is well-equipped and has full size fridge and small dishwasher. No restaurant on site and not within walking distance of any eateries. Kroger is a few minutes drive if you want to cook or eat in your room.
This is a newer resort, it’s around up and coming new resorts. It’s a little noisy but not to much. The place is very clean and nice. Hope it stays that way for a long time. It’s super close to The Island. Also super close to Dollywood! It has a nice pool too. Not deep at all but it was nice for my husband and I to walk into since it’s very shallow!
Would definitely stay here again!
Only downfall is the bathroom door needs to swing out and not in. It’s way too close to the toilet and shower. Needs to have more room.
Check in was abysmal as the room wasnt ready (after 3pm too) Tons of ppl in the lobby waiting, the check in girl was weird about it when I asked basic questions like is there a time estimate? Is there anyway I know what number my room is? And randomly left with a walkie talkie to a backroom and came back to answer me. Super weird. Then I come back an hour later to check in and the only one in line, while I am being checked in the dude is helping someone else at the same time and I have to wait longer. The check in process can be improved, if there are people waiting in the lobby already, asking a basic question of how much the wait is should be easily answered. The room and overnight stay was great but good lord improve on customer service skills and the check in process.
Very nice new hotel. Room was very clean and the free breakfast was very convenient for my husband and I. My only complaint is that I paid for a room with a balcony, which we got but it literally was only big enough for one of us to sit on. One chair was provided on the balcony and there was no way another even smaller chair would have fit out there. I did not book a Mountain View balcony so our view was the new hotel that is being build very very close to rooms that do not face the mountain. We had construction noise every day of our stay at 8AM and could not open the curtains to get in daylight while getting ready for our day out because the workers were literally eye level with our room. All in all the hotel is very nice and super clean and I would stay again but would have to have a Mountain View balcony. We did utilize the 6th floor community patio area and it has a very nice view in the Am for coffee and breakfast. We did go sit out there at night but after long day hectic days out in Pigeon Forge for Rod run it would have been nice to be able to unwind for a bit on the balcony that I paid extra for in our room. I would recommend this hotel but if you are looking to sit and relax outdoors in private def spend the extra money and get the Mountain View premium room..those balconies looked big enough for two people.
