We booked the Glen Lyon based on the restaurant and bar facilities and were told upon arrival that the restaurant and bar were not available. We could not find a restaurant in town that was open so ended up eating snacks that we had. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable and it had a spectacular view.

Air was very stale in the room. Strange odor. Poor drainage in the sink and shower. Got sick just being in the room. Staff was nice though.

The room was very dated and there was a bit of a smell in the room. The bathroom smelled of mold. The view was nice and the staff was friendly.

The rooms are OK, however, they are tired and dated, but they are clean. The property in most particular behind the property could use a little bit of work. All in all it wasn’t terrible.

The view of the harbor right outside our window was wonderful! We enjoyed a trail beside the bay that starts at the hotel. The only issue was that their restaurant is closed indefinitely. It would have been helpful for our meal planning to know that ahead of time.

Very spacious room, comfortable bed, terrific view, balcony with good chairs anfun to watch bald eagles, harbor seals, and marina activity. Great proximity to very scenic walking path. Friendly staff. Definitely would stay again. Only negative is that despite the description mentioning an onsite cafe, it was closed and a sign said it will not reopen.

We spent 2 wonderful nights here. The staff is extremely friendly and super happy to give you information and tips about Port hardy and its surroundings. The hotel is very quiet, cosy, confortable and clean. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
