We stayed as a family for 6 nights. The staff were all really wonderful, the room and common areas were nice and clean and the location of the hotel is ideal for easy access to the waterfront, the museum and downtown. The breakfast was good and had a little something for everyone. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Fantastic hotel - everything was top notch! Terrific staff, excellent amenities, great location. My favourite place to stay in Victoria every time.

Firstly, the Days Inn at Uptown Victoria is a motel not hotel as listed. Our rooms were accessed from the outside which made feeling secure a little less. The rooms are dated, with the toilet being small and lower to the ground and the tub very small. The sink was outside of the bathroom and located beside the bed. The bedding was clean but the beds are situated on a metal skirting that made a tin can popping sound every time you moved and the A/C was right beside the one bed making it hard to sleep in because of the air flowing over. There was no way to divert the air so we ended up using only one bed. If you turn off the A/C it got very stuffy. The TV is cable only with one movie channel. This was all easily tolerated but the floors were very dirty, not understanding why our socks were so black. I thought it was from our shoes but it was all around, not just where we walked.

Nice hotel quiet location, nice bathroom and beds. If you are travelling out of Victoria on a ferry, should allow you to keep overnight parking while you are away, if you booked a stay there. Didn’t like the toilet paper in bathroom. Prefer a roll not pieces
