The room was clean and smelled good. Amenities were updated and the shower was nice and hot. The heat worked well and the room was very comfortable. breakfast was adequate and was a nice plus. I was planning on going to the diner next door for breakfast, but changed my mind. Overall, i would not hesitiate to stay here again.

This is a decent property offering the minimal amount necessary. Its obviously not luxurious but it is well maintained, staff are nice, and its quiet for being right next to the highway.

Fishkill hotel
Small gym with little to offer. Had squeaky stationary bike and nonother cardio machine's. Nothing to wipe down equipment. Room heat loud and very dry and stuffy. Could hear traffic all night long. On plus side great diner across parking lot. I-84 diner. Close t9 gas station.

Our Go To Hotel
This has been our go to hotel when traveling. Our room was spacious and clean. The curtains did a good job blocking out light. Nice shower. Our only complaint was the temperature of the room was too warm. We attempted lowering the temperature but this didn't help at all.

Happy to have stayed here! Clean and a good location. Smooth checkin and checkout. Breakfast included - regular coffee, juices, cereals, bagels, pastries, and you can make your own waffle. Nothing spectacular but very filling and served in the clean welcoming space.

Breakfast sanitation could be better.
The room was fine. Clean enough and the lobby offered 24 hour coffee which was appreciated. What I was not impressed with was the breakfast experience. Aside from no hot breakfast choices like eggs, bacon, sausage, etc, it was the foreign cleaning person who spent so much time in front of the small fridge, making it very difficult to get something out of the fridge. She should do her cleaning before or after breakfast hours---not DURING breakfast. But more problematic was watching as she dropped an open box of cereal packets. Cereal in individual serving paper packets. The packets spilled all over the public floor. She collected them off the floor, putting most back under the cabinet and the rest on the counter for unsuspecting breakfast clients. There is always lint, hairs and germs on any public floor. I come from a culture that we are not expected to eat food from the floor, nor would I retrieve paper packets for people who will shortly be arriving at the breakfast room presuming that there is a degree of sanitation in food items being offered to the hotel clients. But there were too many cereal packets for the cleaning person to simply throw out, as she dropped dozens of them, so one can only hope that as the hotel clients open and empty their cereal choices into a bowl, the unexplained lint & hairs that fall off the packets into the bowls with the cereal don't make anyone sick. As for me, I'm glad I ate something before the unsanitary event. But,it did make me wonder.

What I liked about this hotel is that it was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. This was my second time staying at this property and I was very pleased. It is rare to find a hotel where management takes pride in their property. They must have an excellent management team! I will definitely stay here again as long as this management team is there!
