It was an older hotel, so that’s the reason for my 4 stars as we have stayed at others for the same price and they’ve been more updated/modern. The room was clean, large, and had a beautiful view! Was a great quiet place to stay while visiting friends in Powell River.

Gone downhill considerably. No lounge. No room service. No breakfast on site (continental breakfast offered at another co owned hotel some distance away). Limited exercise area rarely available. Clean. Basic. Expensive for what is essentially a motel. Staff was okay, but blamed condition on limited personnel. Felt like a rip off.

The room was okay, but expensive for what it is. The view was outstanding… oceanfront was greatly appreciated. The cost was to include a continental breakfast. 2 problems. The breakfast was at another hotel 4km away and day 2 there was none provided because of staffing. When we checked out, no one mentioned this, so we drove 4km for nothing.

a quiet, comfortable and clean property ... we had a room with a small balcony which was an asset to view the ocean, especially at dawn and dusk. Staff very capable and gracious. The on-site Bistro opened for the season midway though our stay and it offered excellent cuisine. The one disappointment was not being able to walk along a beach, or even get to one (their frontage is a marina), but in fairness there are plenty of beach walks nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
