Overall the hotel was spot on although i found a little too far for a comfortable walk to the old town. There was however the metro and tram stations nearby.

Pros: - Area around hotel was safe, quiet, and close to transportation - Many excellent restaurants, grocery stores, and services close to hotel - Lockbox - Good air conditioning - Comfortable bed - Small refrigerator - Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful Cons: - No ironing board/ iron in room - No kettle in room (available upon request) - Small shower; faucet becomes very hot - easy to burn yourself due to small shower - Small TV with lack of channels - Rooms not well soundproofed; woken up by sound of cleaning service in the morning

The hotel is outside of the main tourist areas but still within walking distance (around 30 minutes to Charles Bridge). I booked the Junior suite, there were no views as the windows were in the sloped roof but both could be opened/closed electronically with the blinds also operated that way. Since the blinds were fitted inside the windows, they blocked off light very well when closed. The room had seen some wear - damage to the wardrobe doors, and scratches/marks on the floor but it was serviceable and clean. Plenty of places to eat or drink within a 10 minute walk. Good value for money.

Cost cutting efforts showing
I believe that the shower is unusually small and difficult to maneuver within this corner unit without bumping the hot water pipe or unintentionally adjusting the water temperature, either of which has unpleasant consequences. The cost cutting measures are quite obvious, leaving only one towel and one pillow in the room and not replacing bathroom soap and shampoo. I also did not receive proper hotels.com credit for the stay as I booked two rooms for three days which entitled me to six credit stays. The breakfast also showed signs of cost cutting, the coffee was changed and it tastes like asphalt (roofing tar), it was awful. I have stayed here three times before and this might be the last.
