Fantastic hotel with a great staff. Made for a very unique experience and would recommend! Can be a little noisy at night as there is a tram stop just outside, but generally this wasn’t an issue and the convenience of transportation was more important to us

Great place to stay
We stayed in this hotel as a city break for 3 nights. We booked it for something a bit different and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were friendly, room was clean with gorgeous river views. The area was quiet in the evening, and easily walkable to all nearby attractions and town centre.

Would stay here again if I were to visit Prague
We stayed in the Junioi Suite, which was very roomy. The port hole windows were nice to have as we were able to get fresh air in the room. The only problem according to my husband was that the bed was slightly sloped on his side. (Didn't bother me!) The location of the botel was fantastic as we were able to walk everywhere and the tram was within a 1-2 min walk. Just walk up the steps to the main road and cross the street. That's how close the tram is. The staff was friendly and arranged a ride to the airport for our 7:15am flight out of PRG which seemed reasonably priced. PRG guidelines say to be there 3 hrs ahead of time for international flights, but the check-in counters don't open up until 2 hrs before the departure time. They arranged a pick up time of 4:30am and we had more than enough time to check-in and get to the gate.

The Botel is adorable … although the room was the tiniest we stayed in the bed was the most comfortable and the shower had the best water pressure. The staff was polite and helpful. The restaurant was lovely and staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming; that said the food is old school Italian and a B plus at best. We would still eat there again as view from window table looking onto River was gorgeous! Suggest booking a table early and requesting window table overlooking river. The location is awesome … 20 minutes to walk to the Charles Bridge to cross over to Prague Castle. Lots of cute food places to drop into along the way and the walk along the River is lovely! We wished we had a room that faced the river not the street but even without that it was the favorite place we stayed in Prague and we will definitely book there again,

Matylda was an oasis of relaxation, friendliness, and great food after a day of touring Prague. It's only a15 minute walk, or easy Tram ride to Old Town City Center. The staff is A . I'll be back!

I loved this boat hotel! Lovely area on river near trams and Metro. Accomdations excellent. Mangement so efficient and friendly. Obviously the owner takes pride in making everything attractive and welcoming. Exterior so happy with greaniums and lavendar. Interior with plants and 1st class art.Even fruit bowl in handsome lobby and well stocked fridge. Bravo

When we checked in the girl at reception was great. It went for we n hill from there. The rooms are much too small - there's nowhere to puy cases etc.... There is absolutely no place in the bathroom to lay you you your toiletries only on the floor and the same with you ft cases in the room. Much much to small to call a double room.

It is a boatel, tied up on the riverside. Look out your porthole and watch the river activity. Comfortable room, staff was helpful and the breakfast at the attached boat was wonderful. Great surroundings and all sorts of city buses and streetcars 30 seconds away.
