The pictures on Expedia website are from a million years ago. The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The taxi driver could not locate and find the main entrance to the hotel so if you are going to stay here make sure to tell the taxi driver to drop you off at Jalovcova street. We were given a room for two located on the 4th floor and told that we need to take elevator to third floor follow with separate stairs to our room. So the real truth is there were two sets of stairs to get to our room after you get out of the elevator, Impression of the room: dissappointing because it is an ATTIC converted into room. The room has tiny window and several wooden cross beams. This reminds me of one of those old english movies where they punish you by isolating you in the room with tiny window and the floor with straw and hay except here is the bed. The bathroom is clean and all the walls veneered with marble so as the floor. The hotel only has one staff for check in and also the same person would assist you with your luggage to the room if needed. Kai was his name he was great help to bring our luggages to the 4th floor. I requested to switch for different room because the idea of walking around town the whole day, returning to the hotel taking elevator and then another 2 sets of stairs to final destination is appalling. I was told all sold out and the only option is to upgarde and pay addtional 120 euros So we did. not sure if this is a way to get more money out of us issues with hot water took.couple times to correct a big plus for locatiowalking distance to most attractions

Wow, some very high highs and a few lows. Outstanding - The location can not be beat, right in the middle of everything. Outstanding location. Downsides - the AC did not really work, and even though it was cool outside, it was hot inside. We were originally given an outstanding room on the 4th floor. Roomy, really cute, but the room and the whole 4th floor was at least 90 degrees. We turned on the AC and opened the window and left for several hours, but not change. They gave us a room on the 2nd floor which was smaller (at the same price), but did cool down with the windows open. The issue was outside noise; there was singing, shouting and lots of noise until around 1 AM. The people working there were great. Friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Again, very friendly and helpful people. Our Uber driver could not find the location. He ended up dropping us off and saying it was close. He was right. When we left, the receptionist fixed a ride to the airport that could actually find it. Job well done. Would I go there again? I would never go in warm weather, and I would never accept a room that backed up to an alley.

I loved the hotel. The room was very comfortable as well the bed. From the persons in reception to the people serving breakfast everybody were so nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Everything homemade and they served omelette too. I really enjoyed my stay. I could walk to all the main tourist points.

Nice rooms, nice staff, amazing location. However, the wine cellar they show was under construction, and the bar isn’t used for more than breakfast sitting area. Really nothing to do in the hotel, however there are so many amazing sites just a quick walk away. Room was clean and comfortable, very unique, and had AC which was a life saver.
