Beautiful hotel but bad service
I was very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I picked it because of its great location & amenities, but was disappointed in their lack of service. Upon arrival we were given a welcome drink which was delightful and were asked to return at 3 to check in. They recommended a nearby restaurant which was horrible. When we returned we were told our room was still not ready & found out that they have a guest lounge with unlimited food & drinks for a small fee which we were not told about until after we returned to the hotel. When our room was finally ready & we checked in, we were told that we do not have access to the pool or other amenities unless we pay 15 euros per person & were not given any other information about the hotel or it's facilities or activities. i.e location of spa, pool or breakfast area. The room was spacious & beautiful but had a broken sink, hair dryer & thermostat. They also gave me a room with a super high dangerous tub that was very hard to get in and out of with a low range shower head causing us to have to kneel in the tub to wash our hair even though we had requested a shower. They frequently forgot to give us toilet paper & tissues, but were very receptive when we called down for supplies & would bring them right away. The weekend staff was very friendly & apparently added access to the pool after i complained to hotels.com but didn't inform us until we checked out at which point they comped our room service.

Nice property with excellent location. Front desk staff was wonderful, but the staff at the restaurant and bar was a whole different experience, we gave them two tries also. Our waiters both times (different person) was crass and not warm or welcoming at all, also food was just ok, and my steak was cold and when I tried to tell them it was met with impassive attitude, so I just left at that. Bar cocktails were excellent. Also the lounge and bar which are super cozy and comfortable were closed two of our 3 nights for private events which is a bit disappointing when you expect it as it’s listed as one of the amenities from the hotel guests. Prague has many true 5 star properties, I probably won’t stay at Kings Court again.

I'LL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN - READ WHY
NEVER STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. Hotel engaged in "bait & switch" me. They sold me a King Bed, then gave me two twins. When demanded a King, they moved the 2 beds together & put a sheet over it. Pure madness. Outrageously overpriced for what you get? NEVER stay here. The hotel then double charged me for breakfast. Confronted manager & they said too bad for you and told us to cry him a river. Rude beyond words. Website pictures totally misrepresent the room sizes, in fact they are so small you don't even have enough room to change your mind. I REGRETTED THIS STAY. The review is real. You've been warned.

Excellent hotel in a great central location. Walkable to almost everything. The tram is directly outside the hotel. Shopping is a two minute walk. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel restaurant was excellent. The service was excellent from check in to check out. Highly recommend.

Stay away! Update: Initially they comped our dinner, but due to this review, they rejected the comp after the fact. Just be aware that they'll punish anyone for a negative review. -- For three days straight they held an event right outside our room from 8.30am to 6pm. The event was happening in the hallway and the buffet was right outside our door. Hotel suggested that it was our fault for not letting them know sooner. Hotel didn't give us a heads up or anything that this was going to happen. Please avoid this place. We didn't get a good rest and hotel told us to go sit at a restaurant to avoid noise.

My stay at the property was wonderful during my time. But the process of the check in for a highly priced hotel is unacceptable as a wait for it should not be needed as staff should be professional. I was greeted rudely due to it as their was no signs and no instructions on available staff member handling it and it is such a shame for such a highly priced place

The King's Court was a lovely hotel in a great location near the old town square and public transportation. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were nicely appointed. Hotel can set up transportation to and from the airport if you contact them.
